Narita Air Pot Pump Hot water Dispense The water has a funny taste to it. It is not boiling hot but does OK for making hot choc or tea or even instant coffee.
Bad product I bought this one from San Fransisco in Chinese store and it did not work so I returned it . The new one worked one time and now it will not stop until all water from dispenser will steamed out. I check instruction book and has no mention of Company name Phone number and product made in china or anything. Don't know who to complain.I bought in San Fransisco and moved to L.A. So I can not return it.. Wasted my $45.I would not recommend this product.

BRILLIANCE I recieved my Krups FL700D50 Infused Electric Kettle yesterday.Once again Krups comes through.It is excellent no more guess work . I set it up last night got up this morning turned it on and I had perfect tea in minutes. I trust Krups and looked at alot of kettles but this one for the price and the name you can't go wrong.I would recommend this to any one you will love it! Thanks Amazon the site is great and trusted.
A good buy So far I have not had any problems with this product. It has improved my tea drinking experience. It will stain after a few uses but that does not affect the quality of the tea.
This item is very questionable Received this item with no documentation at all. Contacted the seller and try to get a copy of the original manual and paperwork. No luck they keep saying they sell new stuff and not used stuff and they cannot get the paperwork. Went to the manufacturer's web site and cannot even locate this item in the US section. They said no need to have documentation just register online. Online registration again has no such item FL700. Cannot locate manual to download either. Finally talked to a live person and he sent me a manual in PDF format. Check the manual out and see no UL certification code in it. Unit is made in China and can assume anything could happen there. Too many question marks decided to send it back for a refund.
Replaced my Cuisinart electric kettle I emailed Krups and they said that the plastic infuser for this product is BPA free but i do wish it was glass or metal instead.Works great.. only thing that could make it better is a noise to let you know its done heating up.The Breville model similar to this one has a feature where you can heat in 5 deg increments and a timer to start boiling water for people who want their tea before work etcand i believe this informs you when its done heating.. but for $230 for the Breville model the Krups is a cheaper alternative.
Krups Glass Infused Tea Kettle Krups has done a great job with this tea kettle! This item makes a perfect cup of tea! I was not so sure about purchasing it since it is a new item and hadn't been reviewed before. It arrived in just two days and I used it immediately. It is very simple to use. So simple that you wonder why it cost $100. But really that's a good thing. You are definitely paying for the quality and it is very well constructed. I wasn't sure if the infuser basket was glass or plastic. Turned out it is plastic. The directions talked about a plastic taste that you may experience at first use but I heated and disposed of two kettles of water with the infuser lowered prior to actually brewing tea and I experienced no plastic taste at all. I would hope that Krups would have made the infuser BPA free but I can't find any evidence either way. The water heats quickly and the multitemperature function is great for brewing various types of teas. Also once you brew the pour spout has a fine mesh screen that will prevent any loose tea debris from escaping into your tea cup. I brew a lot of rooibos tea which is very fine and some of the tea does escape the infuser. The other good thing is that it has a double infuser a basket that the actual infuser sits in which allows you to place other items that can use a longer brewing time into the basket prior to lowering the tea infuser. For me I like to add a little fresh ginger into the basket. Clean up is very easy as well. Only thing is I would have loved to see some intermediate measurements on the carafe in addition to the max fill line. All in all I've been enjoying this product and would definitely recommend it.
Electric Kettle I purchased the Krups kettle a little over a month ago and it really makes great tea for the price. Yes you have to drop the infuser basket and keep track of steeping times but for about $150 less than popular models I can handle that. The only reason that I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is that the plastic was stained within days of purchase. Not as pretty as when it first came out of the box but still makes a nice pot of tea.

Review of Proctor Silex 1 litre Electric Kettle with automatic shutoff #K2070 I purchased the electric kettle from my soninlaw's list more than a year ago. He is in the military and first used it at work to make tea and to make soup for his lunch. Then he took it with him through EOD training and then on to Afghanistan for a 6 month deployment there. It came back home with him in October and he's still using it at his shop on base. One of the best gifts he's ever received according to him and I'm pleased that it's held up and been of such benefit to him.

Very satisfied with this product. This kettle is very durable. I have this kettle for almost 6 years and i never experienced any problems. I use it constantly. Very easy to washa bit pricey but i bought for $90 on Amazon in a newcondition. Totally recommend this product.
Leaks after few months I wish I had read all the one star reviews before buying this kettle. It worked fine for a few months but then it started leaking onto the heating platform making it unusable.I do have to say that this apparently is not the only one of this kind that leaks. I have seen another brand that leaked just like it. So it may be industry wide problem. But for a big name brand like Braun to not come up with a solution for an otherwise fine product is simply stupid business practice.
Braun WK600 Impressions 7Cup Electric Kettle Very happy. Just love it. Big capacity and very powerful.Stainless steel is very healthy much batter then plastic. I had ROWENTA before but it become broken. I was looking for something similar but this one is no comparison. Little bit expensive but worst the price.
Great Hot Water Jug Just had a slip up with the pilot light going out but that was fixed under warranty. Make sure to keep the scale away with overnight vinegar soaks and the rust won't build up and you'll be taking tea tumultuously timidly tremendously and transcendentally for years.
Still working after 7 YEARS! I purchased this kettle in 2005 from Amazon for just under $75. It's still working as good as ever. The only reason I am looking for a replacement is that it's looking a bit shabby and scratched on the outside. I've never had an electric kettle that came close to lasting 7 years before! It Leaks I used to love this electric kettle. It heated water fast and it seemed solid. At this high price I expected it to last for 10 years or more our clothes washer and dryer have lasted over 25 years. I don't recall exactly when we bought this Braun electric kettle but I believe it was about two years ago. Now it leaks from the bottom. This is unacceptable for a WATER HOLDING product. I'm now looking for another cordless electric kettle.
Review after owning for 3 years Hazardous I thought I would write a review on this tea kettle after owning for 3 yrs. I did like this tea kettle very much and in all this time it has always heated up quickly. However when one spends the amount of money this kettle is it should last for a long time. Mine started leaking as others have complained.
Lasted over 4 years This kettle would have received 5 stars from me until a few months ago when it started leaking. We have had it over 4 years so that's not awful but I would have liked to get 10 years out of it for such an expensive kettle.
Plastic Leaching It heats up water pretty really fast. The problem is there are plastic rivets for the handle and water level window inside of boiling chamber. All plastic leaches especially with hot liquid. I've not used this kettle in years and have replaced it with a all glass stovetop kettle. The glass one is a lot slower but no leaching.
Leaks Loved the look but like a lot of other people who have owned this kettle for more than the 'honeymoon period' it starts to leak and eventually stops working. When I say eventually I mean under 2 years.

I Am In Love With This!!! I am in love with this hot water pot! Debated long and hard before ordering but so far it's worth every penny! It's so much easier and faster than boiling water on the stove or in the micro. Originally thought we would use it just for tea but have found the instant very hot water to be useful for so many other things both cooking and cleaning. First ordered the 4L size but upon arrival immediately realized we should have ordered the 5L size as we thought of so many more uses. Returned for the 5L size and are happy we did. We especially like the fact that we have plenty of hot water for prewarming thermoses in the morning as well as making large amounts of tea to fill them. Works much better than anything else we've tried. This unit is very easy to use keeps water within a couple of degrees of the selected temperature 208 195 or 175 degrees F. heats fairly quickly and seems very well designed and made. A pleasant surprise for us was the color of this unit. It is BISQUE not white or white grey as stated so it blends well with ivory/bisque and looks okay with white. The electronic control panel is a pearlescent bisque color kind of pretty not as plain as we thought it would be. We now leave it on all day.
Instant Dechlorinated Hot Water The ZoJirushi water dispenser is beautifully designed beautifully engineered and a flawless performer. I drink tea all day long. The 5 liter model provides about 20 cups of hot water before requiring refilling. Once refilled the temperature zooms to the 195 degree setting in a matter of minutes. It's small sits on the counter top and is ready to dispense hot water at the touch of a button. No more microwave no more boiling water on the stove top just push the button and your cup is filled with 195 degree water.
We love it! We love our Zojirushi! I'd had my eye on it for some time and when the little bookstore we frequented was closing out it's section dedicated to fine teas and accessories we got a super deal on it. Even if all we did was make tea with it it would have been well worth it but I use it when making coffee oatmeal soups pasta or when I want to add a bit of water to a simmering dish without dropping it's temperature. It's just so much more convenient than boiling water on the stove or in the microwave. It's right there and ready whenever I need it.
Easy looks good and does what it's supposed to do Only used mine for two days now and for what it offers it seems to be perfect. I would love to see a future model just like this with only a few changes An adjustable timer this one is set at 7 hours only and add a 185F temp setting. If the stats as is work for you GET IT you won't be disappointed.

This is a quality product Made in Japan not China junk. Possibly the only drawback is the cost for keeping 45 liters of water hot 24 hours a day.

Poor This is my second Travel Water Heater for car. Both units only lasted for about ten uses then died. On taking a closer look at my second unit after it died it look as if it was wired for a 240/120 volt circuit and not a 12/24 volt circuit internal wiring too thin. For the price and the fact it is CE certified I'm not impressed. I expected a better product with CE certification.
Painfully slow This thing takes soooooo long to heat water. I'd say only buy it if you're desperate and have no other way to heat water.
Travel Water heater This is a handy item for making tea on the road. It fits neatly into the car between the front seats and plugs into the cigarette lighter. It has two cups that are stored in the jug. The only problem is that it takes half an hour to boil 2 cups of water. That is much too long and meant that we never actually used it on our trip.

Finally! Since the demise of cordless electric kettles made for the US market in places like Belgium England etc. we've been getting some pretty awful kettles made in China. The reports in online reviews have ranged from terrible smelling plastic with resultant terrible smelling water to lightweight construction poor design and faulty connections things falling off kettles breaking down etc.. For those of us who love our tea or just wanted to boil hot water more efficiently this was all terribly unacceptable.When my old Russell Hobbs Sovereign model finally gave up the ghost about six weeks ago I began buying and then returning kettles with alarming frequency and was becoming increasingly disheartened.Enter the Renoir Cordless Electric Teakettle made by the Bonjour Company. It arrived today. Clean design heavy stainless steel believe me heavy is a very good thing minimal plastic but what there is of it is of good quality a welldesigned and wellmade washable calcium filter a beautiful cast steel handle that does NOT get hot when the kettle does an exterior water gauge and finally a kettle that looks like a kettle not like a jug. And not too many bells and whistles that can end up breaking and that you really don't need.There is one minor design glitch and one confusing instruction in the accompanying manual 1 the kettle is slightly difficult to fill from the top 2 you can fill from the spout although the instructions say not to but do not explain why.That's it.The heavy brushed stainless is divine and the water boils quietly and fairly rapidly.

Failed after 6 months Loved this kettle when we got it. I was looking for a well engineered quality product and out of the box this looked and worked great. unfortunately the weak link was the plastic auto on/off switch which stopped working after 6 months used it a couple of times a day but expected it to last years not months.. it keeps switching itself off now after a few seconds so water never gets hot rendering it useless.. seems a shame to throw it away after having paid reasonable money for it.
A Champ This kettle has performed flawlessly for two years. It leaves no taste in the water which is crucial for tea and is easy to handle. The only complaint is that it is slightly awkward to fill as the opening is small.
so far so good I bought this kettle to replace our Cuisnart electric kettle which was the second one in 3 years that broke. The first Cuisnart that we had was under warranty so we sent it back for replacement. The construction of this Bonjour Renior seems to be more solid than Cuisnart. The water level indicator is also nice. We've had this for almost a month and have been very satisfied. Don't know the longevity yet though.

A super performer with a nice small footprint FOR CLARIFICATION The item which Amazon shipped to me and which I reviewed is the DK350 Stainless Steel kettle. It was NOT the DSJM350 as was listed on Amazon and also on my Invoice. The DSJM350 is not a current production model of this kettle.I have been searching for a replacement cordless kettle for our Capresso H2O Plus 48 oz glass kettle. As other have reported the plastic lid on the Capresso fell apart precisely at the end of the oneyear warranty. Two screws hold the lid to the glass and they are exposed to the hot steam whenever the unit is on. This is a poor design. Moreover the metal heating element in the bottom of the kettle began to rust after a few months and it was a continuous effort to remove that weekly. Finally I never did completely get rid of the annoying plastic smell/taste that others have also complained about.After my soso experience with the Capresso I knew what I did NOT want. I seriously considered the Zojirushi CVDYC40. However I declined on that for two reasons. First the Zoji has a huge footprint. It eats up a 9x12 area on your countertop and it's ~14 tall. Second it is a dispenser with a spigot. We use a kettle primarily to pour water over coffee in a Chemex or Melitta filter unit. To use the Zoji you would have to dispense into a pitcher device first and then pour onto the ground coffee unless you have a step counter where you can keep the Zoji at the higher level. Not very convenient in our home.So I looked and looked on Amazon and one day the DeLonghi DSJM350 popped up. It was advertised as being able to heat to two different temps and having a 58 oz capacity as opposed to the Capresso's marginal 48oz. It sounded good so we gave it a go.
DK350 Stainless Steel kettle I purchased this item on December 10 2010. So far so good! I have to admit that not all Chinese goods created equal some are really worth money you pay for them. This is the case when I feel a respect to the manufacturer and total satisfaction of the purchase.It's not only perfectly functional but also a visual entertainment during the water heating process you can see how the colors are changing from blue to violet and to red when the water is boiling you see that through that matte plastic part with the measurements. Also you'll hear the special sound when the water is ready for brewing.The kettle toggle switch works down to boil the water completely and up to keep the water hot enough to brew instant coffee or some other drinks which require hot but nonboiling water. I use toggle down most of the time and it works like clock.By the way I bought DeLonghi juice extractor from Amazon several days ago and without doubt I see the high standard which this brand represents. From now on I'm going to consider DeLonghi among the ones I would prefer to buy from.
