Perfect little glass kettle! We have recently been drinking a lot more tea. The flavors that are becoming available are amazing and we are making an effort to drink more tea as opposed to soda. We picked up some delicious loose leaf tea mixes from our local Enchanted Gifts and I then decided I should set out to find the perfect kettle to brew it.Like most people I associated tea kettles with the metal types that whistled when done. Problems such as leaching etc. never occurred to me but I am happy the maker of this product mentioned it. I do not want anything affecting the taste of my tea.So far we have infused tea through the strainer but I look forward to unlocking the full potential of this small kettle. I do think I will get another glass kettle hopefully from the same manufacturer for the sole purpose of creating our heated water. Further I may get a second one of these to have more tea on hand when I have company. This kettle is perfect for my wife and me but if we have company we will need more tea than this creates.I hope this review helps all who are thinking of buying. One thing I did not mention is how solid the kettle is. It has been mentioned in other reviews but the glass used for this kettle is strong. Like another reviewer mentioned I too clank items together when washing dishes. I am confident nothing at all will happen to this kettle despite my somewhat clumsy attempts at dish washing.If you opt to buy this I am certain you will not be disappointed.

Simplistically Pretty Yet Very Durable! I read many of the reviews before purchasing and knew I wanted a glass teapot that could go from stove to tablethis one has the added infuser which makes it so much easier to make a pot of tea. The first time I made a pot I was cautious on the heat strength just to be certain I didn't crack the glass. It's just like the stuff you used in chemistry classjust a classier beaker! So on my stove I have a burner that simmers & doesn't go full blast & I use that on the high setting & it's perfect! The infuser & pot are easy to clean too. And the tea that comes out is excellent! No more tinny/metallic tastevery clean & you can taste the full flavor of the tea. I would highly recommend this teapot to anyone looking to get out of their metal one.

EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! This item is extremely DANGEROUS! On the second use I was boiling tea and upon lifting the kettle the entire bottom cracked along its circumference and fell out dumping boiling hot scalding water all over my leg and kitchen. My thigh is now burned with painful blisters on the surface! NEVER buy this product or use glass on a stove to boil anything despite the manufacturer's claims. I am only glad that the glass didn't shatter more. I was lucky in a way and it was my leg that was burned instead of my face or torso for example. I was able to jump back in time when I lifted the kettle and the bottom fell out from underneath it. My pant leg was soaked with boiling hot scalding water and this against my leg was what burned me.
Top quality for the price! I did not expect a quality product of this type for such a reasonable price. It is made of solid glass and holds a large volume of liquid. AND IT IS ATTRACTIVE! Great buy.

Excellent Product for the Tea Lover! I received my Grosche Munich teapot and could not be happier. When ordering I was somewhat apprehensive about the possibility of breakage but my fears were baseless. The teapot was very well packaged and well protected.Besides the pot's elegant appearance I have found it to be very functional.
Cheaply Made When the teapot arrived I was surprised how cheap the construction was. I thought something that was safefor the stovetop would have some heft to it like a Pyrex product. Not so. The glass is very thin and fragile.One small tap against your kitchen faucet will be the end of it. Also the top fits very loosely and has notab to keep it from falling out when pouring. Thus the first time someone pours a cup of tea who is not familiarwith the loose fitting top will no doubt have it fall out and break. I would not recommend this product.
