Automatic shutoff stopped working after 9 months When I first found this kettle on Amazon it had a higher rating and the price was right. Worked great for 9 months then the automatic shutoff feature stopped workinghave to unplug the kettle to get it to stop boiling. Now I see a lot of people have this same problem.
Leaky Kettle I've had this kettle for a few months and it's developed a leak between the plastic window and the stainless steel case. It's fine for boiling one cup but when I fill it up further I end up with water all over the kitchen floor. I normally just make tea for myself and hated the idea of wasting $40 so I've put up with it so far. However with Christmas coming I've decided to bin it and treat myself to a new one from a different company. Do yourself a favour and don't buy this one at all. The price is much higher than the quality.
Works like a charm After much research I finally settled on this cordless electric kettle. So far I have nothing but good things to report. First off with it completly full it boils water under 5 minutes. Much faster than a stove or microwave. The automatic shutoff feature is great. It is also fun for the kids to watch the bubbles through the clear window. Bottom line for the price and the features it is well worth it.
good looking but not reliable very nice looking kettle. It worked good then stop to shut off. Have to through it away.
Works as expected I bought this to heat water for my morning coffee. I bought an inexpensive timer from BiMart instead of getting a pricey programmable electric kettleand it works just great.
Nice kettle I've had this now for a couple months and have no complaints. it boils water quickly looks great etc. not really much more I'd ask for out of an electric kettle.
Lid doesn't close returned item The lid doesn't latch on the kettle I received rendering it useless. Sending it back.
Broke after 8 months won't shut off automatically Bought this in May and its now December so it worked great but only for 8 months. Going to investigate this alleged easy 1 year warranty promise. Hopefully I'll be able to come back and give an update.
its good This item works good it boiled the water quicklythe only small problem is the switch you have push a little hard to turn on the rest its great.
Heating element out within a couple of months The heating element stop working within a couple of months of purchase. I will not buy same again. It was a waste of money.January 24 2012Update The kettle is supposed to have a year of Worry free warranty but I cannot get anyone to answer the phone number listed or to return my emails.I only paid $25 for it but even at that price is not worth it.
