  • as good as our previous model We had an older model for a few years but it seemed to burn out. This one works just as great. If you need a hot water dispenser I recommend this one.
Hot Water Pot I have had a hot pot for 10 years and it finally gave up. I looked at several and I decided on this one. I like the fact that it has a lock and It is filling in for the old one just fine. The price was great too. You can pay over $100 for these babies but why? This one is great for a lot less.
nice to have around So far this product has worked exactly as described I use only filtered/spring water in it to prevent buildup.
Boiling mad Have had this thing for 15 months now. Don't use it that much but do always keep it plugged in and the water hot. It had worked fine until recently but now it boils/steams/evaporates not sure how it's doing it half the water away within a 24 hour period. Fill it up don't touch it and in 2 days it's empty! How difficult is it to keep water hot but not evaporated? For $60 it ought to be able to manage that. But this appliance clearly fails on the basics.
winner i wasnt sure at first about this unitbecause it would be replacing a under sink unit.the under sink unit was always breaking & it was very costly to replace. this thing is great.i got it for my wifewho has to have hot water& its quietdoesnt take up to much counter spaceplus the stainless exterior matches everything in our kitchen. its also full automatic just add the water.
Convenient A very convenient appliance to have in the kitchen. You will need to press Unlock and Dispense for hot water. That is the safety feature so that younger hands will not accidentally dispense hot water and hurt themselves. Recommended.
Great for 3 months Unfortunately this hot water dispenser developed deposits onto the bottom and sides of the inside of the pot within a few months of use. The deposits cannot be scrubbed off. Water also evaporated from the machine pretty quickly so even if you don't use it you have to refill it. I got rid of ours after a year for fear the deposit in my water proved harmful.
Wonderful for the Tea and Hot Chocolate Drinker This product has really made my life easier. It's much safer that the tea kettle on the stove that we kept forgetting to turn off as it has a dry boil off switch. It holds plenty of water to fill the tea pot a few times. And the water is the right temperature not too cool for tea. The only two things that I wish it had was an off switch and a easier to see water level indicator.
Breaks Easily This product worked as expected for the first few months then one day it just didn't turn on. Also the dispense button is hard to push and if you plan to use this a lot that can be annoying.
